Could You Pack a Shoebox and Change a Life?

Operation Christmas Child

It’s that time of year again when the Timberline Church family packs shoeboxes with a variety of toys, schools supplies, and hygiene items. While pre-printed boxes and informational flyers were handed out during weekend services, any shoebox will serve the purpose and many buy plastic shoeboxes that can become a valuable family resource later. Shoeboxes will be collected in the mall during the weekend services on November 7th and 8th and November 14th and 15th.

Need an overview or reminder? Find a shoebox. Decide on the gender and age range of the individual. Find a key gift and then fill around it with other smaller items. Pray for the child to be open to receive the gospel message that will be shared when the box is delivered. Donate to cover shipping costs and print a label if you want to receive notification of where your box is going. And then drop off the filled shoebox at Timberline Church. For more information and ideas about what to pack in a shoebox as well as links to print labels, see the Samaritan’s Purse Website.
