Jazmyn Markel has been a part of the Timberline Church family for the last ten years and has enjoyed volunteering with the Run For Orphans race alongside her mother. Jazmyn just graduated from high school and plans to attend Grand Canyon University in the fall. In the meantime, the opportunity came up to serve in Tanzania, Africa.
Jazmyn is excited for this new adventure with the Lord. She will be spending three months working in an orphanage, a school, and wherever else her contacts need help. As she says, her goal for the trip is to “find my own amazing. I want to experience something that is extraordinary and I want to strengthen my relationship with the Lord through humbling myself.”
While she is gone, please pray for strength and endurance as well as provision. Jazmyn said, “I want to be present and persevere through the hard times.” You can follow her adventure on her blog at jazmynmarkel.blogspot.com.
