After spending Spring Break with his senior class serving at an orphanage in Belize, Jon Meyer decided to delay college for a semester so he could serve even longer. He will be working with Laugh Out Loud Ministries through the summer and into the fall doing anything they need done including maintenance type work, tutoring, and playing with the children.
His goals for this mission’s experience are to grow closer to God, but to also build relationships with the staff and especially the kids as he pours into their lives. When he returns to Colorado, Jon will be working, then studying Mechanical Engineering at CSU next spring.
While he is gone, please pray for:
- Safe and smooth travels.
- Safety while he’s in Belize.
- Favor with the children.
- The ability to serve the orphanage well.
